Happy Couple! Palm Beach County Engagement Photographer
October 6, 2009My mini-me (my little sister) is engaged!! I am so happy for her and Joel, her fiancee, who I love, by the way. They are a beautiful couple and just as beautiful on the inside. Becky and Joel came down from Raleigh, NC for a visit this weekend. Joel took Becky for a stroll on the beach in Delray where they enjoyed a bottle of champagne and where Joel surprised Becky with a sunset proposal and lovely diamond ring! We enjoyed a lovely dinner at Tramonti afterwards to celebrate. Aww, so romantic! I can’t wait for the wedding! My little sis is all grown up and she is going to make an amazingly beautiful bride! Now the big decision….do I want to photograph the wedding or just enjoy it and be in it? Hmm….decisions, decisions!!
Anyhow, we wasted no time in getting their engagement portaits done the very next day. I’ve been loving field shots lately (despite the need for serious bug spray) since I don’t see many people around here doing them and therefore it is a bit different for the area. Also, we, of course, had to catch some sunset shots in honor of the sunset proposal and they were nice enough to let me play around with some off camera lighting (still working on that, haha) in front of the most amazing sunset sky. Becky looked tall, fit, and beautiful (she’s 5 foot nine plus the heels) and Joel looked dashing and doting.
P.S. Don’t you think these two should be on the cover of a fitness magazine? Oh, it’s just not fair (no photoshop magic here)! Haha! You guys know I love ya!
