Hello! I am Giovanna, the artist behind the fine art portraiture of Bell’Anima Photography.

My Inspiration
After my son was born prematurely and we endured a difficult hospital stay, I found that photographing him helped me get to know him and appreciate his inner beauty. Photography became not only a means of artistic expression, but a passion; it helped me connect with people, see the world in a new way and preserve those precious, fleeting moments forever.  Through photography, I have developed a deeper appreciation for the beauty of the soul, which inspired the name Bell’Anima Photography. Bell’Anima is Italian for “beautiful soul”. It is a tremendous honor for me to artistically capture the beauty and soul of each client.

My Style
Our memories often take on a magical, larger-than-life quality. My work captures the memorable in photographs that are bright with excitement, colored with passion, and shimmering with life. My trademark style includes richly saturated colors, glowing skin tones, beautiful scenery, sparkling eyes, and an almost mystical quality. To me, these elements help convey the spirit of a soul, the essence of a moment and the feeling of a memory.

Prior to our session, I will contact you for an in-depth consultation, to develop an understanding of your personal style and needs, and to assist with wardrobe and location selection.

During our session, I’ll patiently work with your family to uncover those hidden smiles, magnetic connections and thoughtful moments. A technically perfect photograph is only the beginning; from there, each image is meticulously enhanced to reveal the colorful vibrance that tells a special moment’s story. Each capture goes beyond the ordinary to become a vivid art piece that reveals beauty and emotion.

There are many ways to enjoy your priceless family portraits. To assist with your selections, I offer an in-person ordering session in the comfort of your home. High-end stretched canvases, luxury albums, and beautiful custom storyboards are just some of the options available; I will bring samples of the most popular offerings for you to experience and test potential in-home placement. Finally, I personally hand-deliver each order to ensure your satisfaction.
